Portrait images that are taken by chance can be powerful and authentic. The beauty of this kind of portrait is that at the right angle, in the right light, at the right moment, everyone looks incredible.
The problem with this style of photography is that it is not very efficient. You need to take a lot of images before you get a good one.
Gina has a different approach.
My definition of a good portrait is that it tells a story about the person I am photographing without having to use any words. There should be enough details in the image to tell the viewer everything they need to know.
I believe the most efficient way to do this is to manufacture it.
