Bio
As the daughter of two traditional southerners, photographer Misha Wynn was raised in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. With her deepest influences being a strong work ethic and Southern Baptist roots, Misha blossomed into an artsy, high-spirited, fearless, and slightly introverted wild child who ruled the 70s in true form. After pursuing a career in architecture and fueling her passion for art on the side, she soon fell in love with almost every discipline of art – almost. (Ain’t nobody got time for glass blowing.)
Misha’s journey to creating Lavishly Lux Studio was sparked by her love of storytelling through the lens of a camera and photographing life’s most precious moments. When she’s not spending time with her 16-year-old twin boys or brunching with besties, she is capturing priceless memories and raw emotion in her images; and she hopes clients will experience those same emotions when they look back on their wedding photos 20 years later.
“Every weekend, new love is experienced,” says Misha. “Capturing all those moments turns passion from a job, into a bonafide calling. Loving what you do makes the hustle easy, but doing what you’re called to do makes the world continue to spin around and around.”

Aussie Slang word of the week
Spit the dummy / spat it: To indulge in a sudden display of anger or frustration; to lose one’s temper.
A similar display of when an infant spits out their pacifier “dummy” and bursts into a hysterical crying fit.
Example: “He spat the dummy when he didn’t get the promotion”.
